Islington Boys' Club Play Stag and Dagger

Melodramatic Pop band Islington's Boys Club played Stag and Dagger, East London's most accomplished multi venue festival on the 22nd of May. Best established acts were showcased side by side with the best up and coming talent from across the world. Parry Ray Releases New Album

Parry Ray's new album, recorded at renowned Norwegian production house "Waterfall" in Oslo, is set for release on the 12th of July and looks set to launch her from the London scene's best kept secret to mainstream recognition.Parry's rendition of standards and new material which she has written, wring every ounce of emotion from the lyrics. Eyes closed as she sings, she transports the listener and audience into a new dimension of Jazz.
Recent highlights include two performances at the Royal Albert Hall for the Ignite series and she will also be performing at the venue later this summer as part of the Royal Albert Hall Late Night Jazz Series.

MARLA Releases New Single and Video

Pop-vamp Marla's debut UK single "Lipstick For The Vampires" is coming your way on the 24th of May. The song has been produced by Jony Rockstar (Sugababes, Lily Allen, Will Young, Robyn) & mixed by Pete Craigie (Take That, Kylie, Moby). You may well have heard the single already, as Marla was a finalist in the recent unsigned acts competition The Hollyoaks Music Show. She performed "Lipstick For The Vampires" during the live final, which was aired on prime time Channel 4 / E4 and T4 in the UK.Marla will perform a single launch show at The Roundhouse on the 17th of May and the single will be released on the 24th.
However, you can already view the brand spanking new video for "Lipstick For The Vampires" on Youtube. The video was directed by Carl Byrd, famous for creating the iconic GAP and Macy's TV ads in the USA and UK.
Marla is currently featured as "One To Watch" on the TalkTalk music website and will be the featured as "New Artist Alert" on the E4 music website next week. Her music can already be heard in Film and TV and is forthcoming in a new movie by the Napoleon Dynamite team featuring Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Adam Ficek is most commonly known to the general public for his day-job as drummer in notorious British rock act Babyshambles. As a member of the band fronted by Pete Doherty, Adam has seen the best and worst of life at the casualty-laden core of the music industry, but what many people don't know is that he is also a talented multi-instrumentalist who writes and performs beautifully crafted songs under the nom-de-plume of Roses Kings Castles.The first single from the album "One Born Every Minute" will will be issued on 3rd May, followed by a summer release for the album "Suburban Time Bombs"

Mamas Gun play The Royal Albert Hall

British Soul band Mamas Gun are supporting Beverley Knight on her current UK tour and will play The Royal Albert Hall on the 7th of April. Mamas Gun are hugely popular in Japan where they've received more airplay than any other non-Japanese artist: #1 Overseas Top 40, #1 Airplay Chart, #3 Billboard Hot 100. On top of all that they were Jazz FM's album of the week last month.
